What sign problems do you repair?

Is an LED retrofit worth it for an older sign?
Often, yes. If your channel letters or cabinet still run on fluorescent lamps, neon, or old transformers, a retrofit replaces the internals with modern LED modules and low-voltage power supplies while keeping the sign you already own. The result is brighter, more even lighting, lower power usage, and far fewer service calls — dead transformers are one of the most common reasons Houston signs go dark. We'll tell you honestly whether your sign is a good retrofit candidate or whether the money is better spent elsewhere.
Can you reface a sign instead of replacing it?
If the structure is sound, refacing is the economical way to rebrand or refresh: new faces in a cabinet, new panels on a monument or pylon, or repainted returns and trim on channel letters. Rebranding after a purchase or franchise change usually doesn't require rebuilding the sign — and swapping the copy on an already-permitted sign generally doesn't trigger a new sign permit, though electrical or structural changes do. What does refurbishment include?
A refurbishment brings a structurally sound sign back to presentable: rust treated and repainted, faded faces replaced, lighting upgraded, sealed against water, and hardware replaced where corrosion has taken hold. Can you fix storm or wind damage?
Yes. We repair wind-damaged cabinets, replace broken faces, and reseal against water intrusion. If the damage is structural, we assess whether the sign can be repaired safely or needs engineering review.
Should I repair my sign or replace it?
