What counts as a storefront sign?
Four things, mostly. Channel letters are individually built, usually LED-lit letters mounted to your fascia, the standard for retail and restaurants. Cabinet signs (lightboxes) put your whole logo on one internally lit panel. Dimensional letters are non-lit cut letters for a cleaner, architectural look. Which type is right for my storefront?
Start with three questions. Does your landlord's sign criteria require a specific type? Strip centers and multi-tenant buildings usually do, and we read your lease criteria before designing. Do you need to be seen at night? If yes, lit channel letters or a cabinet. What does your budget look like? Dimensional letters and window graphics cost less than lit signs. We'll recommend the right build after seeing a photo of your storefront, and the mockup shows it on your actual building before you commit.

Do storefront signs need a permit?
Exterior storefront signs almost always need a sign permit, and your landlord usually has to approve the design too. We handle both: we check your lease criteria, pull the city permit, and build to code so the install passes inspection the first time.
